- Form submission metadata (such as submission time and related website enquiry details)
Atlas collects only the information reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Service.

Note: As the Atlas app launches, additional data may be collected only as needed to operate the product (e.g., account and profile information). Any updates will be reflected in this Policy.

- To create and manage user accounts and profiles
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- To enable user discovery, matching, and communication features within selected cities

- To monitor, moderate, prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and maintain platform security
We process personal information where necessary for user consent, contractual necessity, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service.
4. Cookies and analytics
We aim to keep tracking minimal. If analytics or similar tools are enabled on the hosting platform or within the application, they may collect basic usage data (such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type, device type, feature interaction, and service performance data) to help us understand Service performance and improve user experience.
Atlas may also use city-level location information provided by the user or device permissions solely to enable discovery and matching functionality within a selected city.
Atlas does not track precise GPS location in the background.
You may be able to limit cookies or tracking through your browser settings or device permissions. Note that some website or app functionality may be affected.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information.
We may use trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting, email, analytics, moderation support, storage, and form infrastructure providers) to store, process, or support the Service. These providers may only process information on our behalf, for the purposes described in this Policy, and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
We may share limited information where required to comply with law, enforce our terms or community standards, investigate misuse, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Atlas and its users.

Our service providers and infrastructure may store or process data in countries outside your country of residence. Where this happens, Atlas takes reasonable steps and appropriate safeguards to ensure that personal information remains protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, provide user accounts and features, fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Waitlist and contact data may be kept until early access ends, the project ends, or you request removal, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to applicable law.

9. Account deletion
Users may request deletion of their waitlist entry and, once the Atlas application is live, may permanently delete their account through the application settings or by contacting:
When an account deletion request is submitted:
- The account is immediately deactivated
- The user profile becomes inaccessible to other users
- Personal data is scheduled for permanent deletion within a reasonable period, typically within 7 days.
Certain limited information may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or platform security purposes.
Content previously shared with other users (such as messages already delivered) may remain visible to those users until it is removed through normal system processes.
10. Security
Atlas implements reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction.
These measures may include secure infrastructure, controlled access, and monitoring practices appropriate to the nature of the Service. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, Atlas takes appropriate steps to protect user data.
11. Age requirement
The Service is intended only for individuals aged 18 years or older.
Atlas does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that such information has been provided, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

Atlas allows users to create profiles, share profile information, and exchange messages through the platform.
Users are responsible for the content they choose to share. Atlas reserves the right to review, moderate, remove, restrict, or take action against content or accounts that violate applicable law, our Terms, or our Community Guidelines.
To support user safety, Atlas may provide features that allow users to block other users, report profiles, report interactions, or otherwise restrict unwanted engagement. Reports may be reviewed and acted upon to help maintain a respectful and safe platform environment.
Atlas provides a platform for users to connect and communicate. Atlas does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for user-generated content, messages, or interactions between users. Users are solely responsible for the content they share and the interactions they choose to engage in while using the Service.
